Director of Marketing Simone DeLoach recently joined the Board of Directors of SPCA Tampa Bay, along with Cynthia Bastos of Power Design. On Friday, May 31, 2019, they had an intensive board orientation to learn about the inner workings of the Largo shelter and SPCA Tampa Bay Veterinary Center (SPVC) operations including animal welfare, disease & medical care, the intake process, adoptions and so much more.

The firm has supported SPCA for over forty years in a myriad ways including volunteerism, sponsorship and through our “Legal Beagles” Pet Walk team. Attorney Dennis R. DeLoach Jr. was on the Board in the late 1970s when it was then known as SPCA St. Pete. Attorney Rep DeLoach also served several terms on the Board and is a regular speaker on Pet Trusts for the organization.

SPCA Tampa Bay is the only non-profit, animal welfare agency in Pinellas County operating an open-admission shelter, pet training facility and public veterinary center. Their Largo shelter cares for injured wildlife and more than 8,000 animals annually surrendered by owners.

In support of the SPCA’s mission, Simone is currently helping to plan and raise funds for “Hooray for Hollywoof,” a dinner-dance gala on Saturday, October 12 at the historic Coliseum to benefit SPCA. Learn more at SPCATBFurBall.com.
