On April 29, 2026, our Green Team welcomed staff members and invited guests from our dhcVIP program for a truly “buzz-worthy” Lunch & Learn: The Buzz on Bees presented by Seminole Bee Farms. Held in the Flamingo Room at DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis, P.A., the event offered a fascinating look into the world of bees, beekeeping, and the important role pollinators play in our environment and food systems.

From the moment guests arrived, the room was filled with curiosity, conversation, and the sweet aroma of honey-inspired cuisine generously provided by Palms of Largo. Staff members and dhcVIP guests enjoyed a relaxing lunch while learning directly from local beekeepers who shared their passion, expertise, and firsthand experiences caring for bee colonies here in our community. We were even joined by our Legal Beagles mascot, Bonnie Bee-gle, who buzzed in for photos and added an extra touch of fun and personality to the afternoon.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the opportunity to see (and hear) live bees up close and learn how a hive functions as a highly organized and interconnected colony. Seminole Bee Farms also invited attendees to visit their retail store anytime to enjoy honey tastings and continue learning more about local beekeeping and honey production.

The presentation sparked thoughtful conversations about sustainability, conservation, and the vital role bees play in supporting ecosystems and agriculture. It was not only educational, but also a wonderful opportunity for attendees to slow down, connect, and engage in one of the Green Team’s ongoing initiatives focused on environmental awareness and wellness.

As part of the firm’s dhcVIP program, all dhcVIP clients were invited to attend as a special client appreciation and community engagement opportunity. The event reflected the firm’s continued commitment to providing meaningful educational programming and opportunities to connect beyond the traditional attorney-client relationship. A special thank you to Seminole Bee Farms for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm, to Palms of Largo for sponsoring the luncheon, and to everyone who helped make the event such a success. We are grateful to our Green Team members and supporters who continue helping us create meaningful programs that inspire learning, connection, and community engagement.

A Big Thank You to Our Sponsors!
