On June 25, what began as a routine drive quickly turned into an unexpected rescue mission. Attorney Rep DeLoach and Director of Marketing Simone DeLoach were behind the wheel of the company’s all-electric Ford E-Transit van when they heard it—a faint, desperate meow echoing from beneath the vehicle.
Peering under the van, Rep spotted a tiny, terrified kitten clinging to the undercarriage, too scared to move. Despite their gentle coaxing—and even the irresistible lure of Fancy Feast—the frightened stowaway remained hidden through the night.
By morning, it was clear they needed backup. So they turned to their trusted neighbors at Tire Kingdom, hoping their experienced crew could help locate and rescue the elusive passenger.
What followed was nothing short of extraordinary.
With compassion, teamwork, and a healthy dose of patience, the Tire Kingdom crew sprang into action. After carefully searching every crevice, technician Bryce and the team finally spotted the kitten—and with steady hands and the help of air pressure, he gently brought him to safety.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Bryce didn’t just save the kitten—he gave him a forever home. Now named EV, in honor of the electric van that unknowingly gave him a ride, this once-panicked passenger is settling into life with his new family.
